Housing Projects Reservation Exchange
This feature allows customers to apply for a reservation exchange request for the selected project under the Expression of Interest service with another housing project, through one of the following methods:
- Mutual exchange agreement with another customer
- Exchange through the platform by publishing the request to search for a suitable swap opportunity
Eligibility and launch phases
Beneficiaries who have reserved a project under the “Expression of Interest” service, provided that the application is active, must meet the following condition:
- Matching the service type with the social status.
Terms and Conditions
To benefit from the reservation exchange feature for housing projects, the customer must have an active application under the Expression of Interest service, and the project must already have been selected.
The following conditions must be met to complete the exchange process:
- The service type must match between both parties involved in the reservation exchange.
- The marital status must match between both customers.
- The other party’s application must be active and not cancelled or rejected at the time of submitting the reservation exchange request.
- Reservation exchange between projects are allowed regardless of the location (Abu Dhabi or Al Ain).
- The exchange request must be submitted before completing the housing unit reservation process.
Reservation exchange requests are subject to the following controls:
- More than one active reservation exchange request cannot be submitted at the same time.
- If there is an active reservation exchange request, any modification to the Expression of Interest application will be suspended until a decision is made regarding the request.
- The same current project cannot be selected under the reservation exchange options.
