H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed approves disbursement of second housing benefits package for 2025 worth 4.62 billion

In line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has approved the disbursement of the second housing benefits package of 2025 for Abu Dhabi citizens. The package, valued at AED 4.62 billion, has benefited 3052 citizens across the Emirate.
The benefits package includes housing loans worth AED 4.4 billion, granted to 2862 citizens. Additionally, it encompasses housing loan exemptions worth AED 212 million catering to senior citizens, retirees with low incomes, and families of deceased citizens, directly benefiting 190 citizens.
The second housing benefits package disbursement was completed ahead of the auspicious occasion of Eid Al Adha, highlighting the wise leadership’s long-standing commitment to achieving comprehensive development through enhanced family stability and wellbeing, while empowering citizens to be key enablers of the national development process.
Furthermore, the initiative seamlessly aligns with the objectives of the ‘Year of Community 2025,’ which aims to bolster social cohesion and nurture solidarity among society members. With the issuance of this latest package, the total value of housing benefits granted to Abu Dhabi citizens this year has reached AED 11.38 billion.
H.E. Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said, “This generous initiative reflects the strong commitment of our wise leadership in supporting citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. By providing high-quality housing solutions, the initiative contributes to strengthening family stability and enhancing quality of life.

It also reflects their commitment to building a prosperous future, rooted in core pillars like superior quality of life and availability of sustainable housing solutions, aligning with the needs and aspirations of our citizens.”
The generous support extended by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, underscores the leadership’s exemplary vision, aimed at ensuring that every UAE citizen is able to lead a dignified life.
Notably, prior to the benefits package disbursement, a AED250,000 community support deduction applied to all eligible housing loan beneficiaries, In addition, a new monthly deduction policy implemented on housing loans repayment reduction of up to 50 per cent, and a range of other services, was approved.
